Michael Hebb, murder suspect

Hebb is charged with two counts of first-degree murder. Authorities are still looking for a second suspect.

The victims were identified as Mark Greenlaw, 37, and Jennifer O’Connor, 39. They were reportedly dating and lived at the house where their bodies were discovered.

Sources told CBS Boston that their bodies had been wrapped in rugs and plastic.

The Fox station in Boston reports that an X-ray machine was used to help police determine the number of bodies at the crime scene because there were so many body parts.

A woman, who has not been identified, discovered the bodies on Saturday morning and flagged down a passing motorist, who took her to a state police office so she could report the crime.

Police said they were familiar with the house where the victims were found, saying they had been called to the residence for other activities. They don’t believe the killings were random.

A neighbor told the Boston Fox station that she was not surprised by the murders because of what she knows about the people in the house.

“I’m not in shock, definitely not,” said neighbor Rachel Hrubes. “I’m very sad, but not in shock.”

The house is being rented by a 67-year-old man, according to public records and neighbors.

Relatives of O’Connor told CBS Boston reporter Christina Hager that she had struggled with drug abuse.

On Monday morning, authorities said they were looking for two people in a 1992 Acura.

After taking Hebb into custody, authorities said the second suspect remains on the run.

Hebb is expected in court on Tuesday.
